Section 55(iv) in The Jharkhand Agricultural Produce Markets Rules, 2000
(iv)All questions which may come up before the Market Committee at any meeting shall be decided by a majority of votes of the members present and voting at the meeting and in every case of equality of votes, the Chairman or the Vice-Chairman or presiding member shall have power to exercise a second or casting vote.
