ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of respondents in granting only 5 marks instead of 10 marks to the petitioners for their contract labour service in spite of submitting all the 'Gate passes', EPF slips pursuant to the orders passed by the High Court in the earlier writ petitions as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, to direct the respondents to grant 10 marks as Service Weightage Marks to the petitioners as per their entitlement, for their contract labour service for more than 7 months by re-verifying the material i.e., (Gate passes/EPF slips etc) submitted by the petitioners and consider them for appointment to the post of Junior Plant Attendants based on their merits pursuant to the notification dated 05.01.2011 and the revised notification dated 17.10.2011 and pass such other orders or orders as this Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners No.3 and 4 have been given the weightage marks and finding them to be eligible, they have been given appointment.
3. With regard to petitioners No.1 and 2, it is submitted that even if weightage marks are given to these petitioners, they will not come under zone of consideration. Therefore, they are not eligible for appointment. The learned counsel for the petitioners is also present and confirmed the same. In view thereof, this Writ Petition is closed as no further orders are required. There is no order as to costs.
4. Miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed.
