(1)The licensing authority may, after giving the holder of any licence under this Act a reasonable opportunity of being heard, cancel or suspend the licence on any one or more of the following grounds, namely:(a)that there has been a breach of any of the conditions subject to which the licence was granted;(b)that the holder of the licence has contravened any of the provisions of section 7.(2)Whenever a licence is cancelled or suspended the licensing authority shall record a brief statement of the reasons for such cancellation or suspension and furnish a copy thereof to the person whose licence has been cancelled or suspended.
