Section 31(1) in The Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats And Industrial Townships Act, 1965
(1)If any person to whom this section applies is without reasonable cause guilty of an act or omission in breach of his official duty, he shall, on conviction, be punished with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees.
