Section 290 in Goa Building and Other Construction Workers' (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008
290. Refund of the contribution of deceased member.
(1)On the death of a member, the amount of contribution standing in his credit shall be given to his nominee. In the absence of a nominee the amount shall be paid to his legal heirs in equal shares.(2)All financial benefits under these rules other than death benefit and medical assistance for accidents shall become payable only after [three months] [Substituted 'one year' by Notification No. 24/24/2010-LAB/657, dated 11.10.2018 (w.e.f. 10.4.2018).] of a person becoming member of the fund [subject to having an Aadhar Card] [Inserted by Notification No. 24/24/2010-LAB/657, dated 11.10.2018 (w.e.f. 10.4.2018).].
