Section 61(b) in Jharkhand Panchayat Raj Act, 2001
(b)No amendment of any law for the time being in force shall have the effect of causing dissolution of a [Zila Parishad] [Substituted 'Panchayat Samiti' by Jharkhand Act No. 7 of 2002 dated 17.1.2002.] which is functioning immediately before such amendment, till the expiration of its duration as specified in sub-section (a).
