9. Powers of Forest Officers to be Public Officers under section 29-A of the Courts Fees Act, 1870, as amended by the Courts Fees (Punjab Amendment) Act, 1939.
- [All Forests Officers not below the rank of Range Officers shall, when preferring any complaint of an offence under section 9 of the Punjab Wild Birds and Wild Animals Protection Act, 1833, be deemed to be public officers for the purpose of sub-section (1) of section 29-A of the Court Fees Act, 1870, as amended by the Court Fees (Punjab Amendment) Act, 1939.] [Punjab Government Notification No. 8564-J-39 dated 20.12.1939.]
