Section 1 in Karnataka Local Authorities (Prohibition of Defection) Act, 1987
1. Short title and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Karnataka Local Authorities (Prohibition of Defection) Act, 1987.(2)It shall be deemed to have come into force on the Twenty-ninth day of December, 1986.
