Section 20(4) in University of Horticultural Sciences Act, 2009
(4)The composition of the Board of Studies for Post Graduate programs shall be as under:-(i)Director of Education - Chairperson;(ii)Deans of constituent colleges;(iii)Director Research and Director of Extension;(iv)Registrar;(v)Dean of Student Welfare;(vi)All University Heads of Departments of the University;(vii)Ten post graduate teachers in the cadre of Professor nominated by the Chairperson for a period of two years in rotational basis;(viii)Ten Post-Graduate teachers in the cadre of Associate Professor nominated by the chairperson for a period of two years on rotational basis;(ix)Ten Post-Graduate teachers in the cadre of Assistant Professor nominated by the chairperson for a period of two years on rotational basis;(x)Two professors of eminence from outside the University nominated for a period of two years by the Chairperson;(xi)Dean Post Graduate Studies shall act as the Member Secretary.
