Section 9(1) in Bureau of Indian Standards (Hallmarking) Regulations, 2018
(1)The Bureau shall grant recognition,-(a)on satisfaction that the Centre has the necessary infrastructure and competence as per the relevant standard for carrying out assaying and hallmarking of the precious metal articles; and(b)on payment of recognition fee and assessment fee as specified in Schedule-II.
