Section 1 in The Jaunsar-Bawar Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1956
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Jaunsar-Bawar Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1956.(2)It shall extend to the whole of Pargana Jaunsar-Bawar of Dehra Dun District.(3)This chapter shall come into force at once. The remaining chapters shall come into force on such date or dates as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint in this behalf and different dates may be appointed for different chapters of this Act.
