Section 4(1) in Rajasthan Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Rules, 2016
(1)Where the local authority is a Municipal Corporation or a Municipal Council, the Collector shall appoint, by order, any officer in the District Administration not below the rank of Additional Collector as an Election Officer for electing required number of members representing street vendors in the Town Vending Committee for the local area of such local authority.
