Section 36 in The Rajasthan Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1958
36. Protection of action taken in good faith.
- No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the [Controller] [Substituted by section 5 of Rajasthan Act No. 37 of 1961, Published in Rajasthan Gazette, Extraordinary, Part IV-A, dated 24.11.1961.] any Assistant [Controller] [Substituted by section 5 of Rajasthan Act No. 37 of 1961, Published in Rajasthan Gazette, Extraordinary, Part 4-A, dated 24.11.1961.] of Weights and Measures or any Inspector or any other person appointed under this Act in respect of anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or the rules made thereunder.
