Regarding Maratha Reservation To The Maratha Community People In Maharastra on 20 September, 2020
Seventeenth Loksabha > Title: Regarding Maratha reservation to the Maratha Community people in Maharastra *SHRI UNMESH BHAIYYASAHEB PATIL (JALGAON) : Hon’ble Speaker Sir, thank you. The issue of Maratha reservation has become a hot and sensitive issue in Maharashtra. The then BJP Government led by Devendra Fadnavis ji had given safe and secured reservation to the Maratha community after their protest for it. But, unfortunately Supreme Court has given stay in this matter. Hon’ble Sir, due to this Supreme Court decision, Maratha youths and students are very disappointed and highly agitated. Hence, through you Sir, I would like to request the Union Government to instruct the State Government to take immediate steps to find a solution for it through the legal route.
