Section 30(i) in Andhra Pradesh Rules Under the Registration Act, 1908
(i)A document which relates to a land situated in a district or portion of a district to which the rules framed by the Government under Section 22(1) have been made applicable shall, before it is accepted for registration be checked with the survey numbers and sub-division in the subsidiary indexes maintained under Rule 125 and also when necessary, with the settlement registers in order that the Registering Officer may cause incorrect or fictitious numbers entered in the document to be rectified.
