Section 5(1) in The Rajasthan District Boards Act, 1954
(1)There shall be established for each district a Board which shall be a body corporate by the name of the District Board of the place by reference to which the district is known, having perpetual succession and a common seal subject to any restriction or qualification imposed by this or any other enactment, vested with the capacity of suing and being sued in its corporate name, of acquiring, holding and transferring property, movable or immovable, and of entering into contracts.
