Section 5(x) in The Himachal Pradesh National Law University Act, 2016
(x)to purchase, take on lease, or accept as gifts, or otherwise, any land or building or works, which may be necessary or convenient for the purpose of the University and on such terms and conditions as it may thinks fit and proper and to construct or alter and maintain any such building or works;
