17. Powers and Functions of the Board of Faculties.
- The Boards of Faculties shall have the following powers, namely:-(a)to make recommendation to the Academic Council regarding admission of students to the University;(b)to draw the curricula and courses and recommend to the Academic Council;(c)to recommend to the Academic Council conditions under which students shall be admitted to the degrees, diplomas and certificates;(d)to recommend to the Academic Council the establishment, amalgamation, sub-division and abolition of departments;(e)to recommend to the Academic Council for the recognition of the degrees, diplomas and other certificates of other Universities;(f)such other powers as may be prescribed.
