13. Floor slopes.
- Slope of the floor of the pool shall be made downward toward the main drain. All slopes should be uniform. The slope in shallow areas shall not exceed 30 cm vertical in 3.6m horizontal except for a slope directed downward from a transition point, which shall not exceed 30cm vertical in 1m horizontal. In portions of the pool with a depth greater than 1.5 m, the front slope of the deep area shall not be steeper than 30 cm in 1 m. The slope requirements of a pool floor are illustrated in the figure given in Annexure-I.
