% 09.05.2023 The present is a criminal reference under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 instituted pursuant to a letter dated 22.03.2019 received from the learned District & Sessions Judge, North, Rohini regarding an unsavory incident that occurred before his court on 22.03.2019.
However, we are informed at the Bar by Mr. Harsh Prabhakar, the amicus curiae, that Mr. Virender Kumar, Advocate, the alleged contemnor herein, has since passed away on 01.04.2023.
In view of the foregoing, the present criminal reference stands abated and is disposed of accordingly.
