477. Scrutiny and counting of voting papers.
- The Registrar, or in his absence, the Deputy Registrar, shall open the covers containing the voting papers and scrutinise them in the presence of such of the persons mentioned in rule 476, as may be present.The votes received by such candidate shall be recorded, and a return showing the number of votes obtained by each candidate, and the number of voting papers rejected as invalid, shall be prepared.
