Section 3(3)(c) in The Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003

(c)the Chairperson and the members of the first Commission shall hold office for the period for which they would have held office under the Central Act subject, however, to the provisions relating to disqualification, resignation, removal and vacancy in this Act.
