Section 59 in The Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961
59. Chairman of meeting.
- At every meeting of a Council, the President, if present, or in his absence or during the vacancy of his office, a Vice-President and if there be no President or Vice-President present, then such one of their member as [the elected Councillors] [Substituted by M.P. Act No. 12 of 1995.] present may elect, shall preside as Chairman.
