Section 24(6) in The Mizo District (Forest) Act, 1955
(6)poisons water or in contravention of any rule made by the Executive Committee, fishes or set traps or snares,shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees or with both.
