5. Power and functions of State Road Authority.
- Subject to the provisions of this Act, State road authority shall have the following powers and functions :(a)to execute road development schemes;(b)to control ribbon development;(c)to prevent and remove encroachment;(d)to exercise such powers and functions as necessary and incidental to any or all of the above matters, and(e)to exercise such other powers and functions as may be prescribed.Chapter - III Development and Maintenance of State Road
