PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India,
praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent
to consider the online Application dated 12.11.2025 of the petitioner to
regularize the unapproved plot situated in Ayan Punjai Survey No.
1483/2B3B, in patta No.6264, to an extent of 6 cents, situated in 18 th ward,
now ward No.1, Vadakari Keezha Padakai, Mettukal Road, Sengottai Taluk,
Tenkasi District, as per the G.O(M.S).No.70 dated 15.05.2025, Housing and
Urban Development department and consequently direct the respondents 1
and 3 to grant building approval and electricity connection to the petitioner's
house respectively by following the order of the 2nd respondent.

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the online application of the writ petitioner dated 24.01.2026 (wrongly mentioned as 12.11.2025 in the writ prayer) to regularize the unapproved plot of the writ petitioner.
2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner had made an online application for regularization of his unapproved plot on 24.01.2026 to the second respondent and acknowledgement has also been issued to the said effect. Since no orders have been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Considering the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to consider the application made by the petitioner and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
