Section 2(f) in Haryana Murrah Buffalo and other Milch Animal Breed (Preservation and Development of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Sector) Act, 2001
(f)"Government" means the Government of the State of Haryana in the Department of Animal Husbandry/Dairy Development;(ff)[ "lean period" means the period commencing from 1st April and ending on 30th June of every year when milk production gets reduced due to climatic and biological reasons ;] [Added by Haryana Act No. 16 of 2002.]
