Section 1 in Tamil Nadu Preservation of Private Forests Rules, 1946

These rules shall apply to all the forests to which the [Tamil Nadu Preservation of Private Forests Act, 1946 (Tamil Nadu Act VIII of 1946)] [This Act should be read as Tamil Nadu Preservation of Private Forests Act, 1949 (Tamil Nadu Act XXVII of 1949.] applies.Explanation. - In the case of forest referred to in section l(2)(ii) of the said Act, the rules shall apply to all such forest whether or not the provision of section 26 of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act, 1882 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1882) have been applied to them.
