(3)Subject to the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Central Act V of 1908) applicable to appeals from original decrees, and notwithstanding any thing to the contrary in any enactment for the time being in force, an appeal shall only lie to the High Court from any decision of the court under sub-section (1).Explanation. - For the purposes of this section, "court" means-(i)in the City of Madras, the City Civil Court;(ii)elsewhere, the Subordinate Judge's Court having jurisdiction and if there is no such Subordinate Judge's Court, the District Court having jurisdiction.
