Section 21 in The Punjab Land Improvement Schemes Act, 1963
21. Inquiries to be held summarily
. - (1) Any Officer or authority empowered under this Act to make an inquiry shall make the inquiry in the manner provided for holding a summary inquiry under the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887, and all the provisions contained in that Act, relating to the holding of a summary inquiry, shall apply to an inquiry made under this Act.(2)Such Officer or authority shall have the same powers for summoning and enforcing the attendance of any person and examining on oath and compelling the production of documents as are vested in the Revenue Officers under the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887.
