(5)The function of the Students' Council shall be to -(i)supervise and co-ordinate the activities of the different Students' Associations, societies and other organisations;(ii)recommend to the Executive Council the financial allocation to be made for the activities to be undertaken under the relevant budgetary heads;(iii)allocate funds for the different activities of the Students Associations, societies and other organisations, as sanctioned by the Executive Council;(iv)submit an annual report, of its work, together with a statement of its accounts to the Executive Council, within a date to be fixed by it;(v)make recommendations to the Executive Council regarding any matter affecting the corporate life or welfare of the students; and(vi)make recommendations to the Executive Council regarding the facilities existing for instruction.
