Section 2(m) in The West Bengal State Council Of Technical Education Act, 1995.
(m)"technical institution" means an educational institution in which instruction is provided for courses of study in engineering, technology, or management leading to any diploma or post-diploma certificate, and includes such other institutions as the State Government, in consultation with the Council, may, by notification, declare as technical institutions.
