14. Appointment of officers in the rank of Senior Civil Judges.
- Vacancies in the cadre of Senior Civil Judge shall be filled up by promotion of the officers in the cadre of Civil Judges on the basis of merit-cum-seniority by the High Court :Provided that no officer shall be considered for promotion to the cadre of Senior Civil Judges unless he or she has been in the cadre of Civil Judge for a period of five years.Part-V
