Section 2 in The Indian Institute of Legal Metrology Rules, 2011
2. Definitions.
- In these rules, unless the context otherwise required:-(a)"Act" means the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (1 of 2010).(b)"Committee" means the Advisory Committee constituted under rule 7;(c)"Course" means a course of study in relation to such subjects as may be specified in the regulations;(d)"Institute" means the Indian Institute of Legal Metrology;(e)"Director (Indian Institute of Legal Metrology)" means head of the Institute;(f)"Regulation" means the regulations made by the Central Government under the Act.
