Section 5(c) in The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cluster University, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2018
(c)the Vice-Chancellor of the Himachal Pradesh University shall be deemed to have been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of the Cluster University and shall hold office for a period of three months or till the time, the first Vice-Chancellor of the Cluster University is appointed under the provisions of this Act; and
