1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submit that petitioners are the street vendors but their street vending identity cards have not been issued by the respondent - Municipal Corporation, Raipur and, therefore, the said authority be directed to issue vending identity cards to the petitioners.

2. Mr. Pankaj Agrawal, learned counsel appearing for the respondent - Municipal Corporation would submit that petitioners' cases will be considered and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vendor) Act, 2014 (for brevity, 'Act of 2014').

3. In view of the aforesaid submission made by learned counsel for the Corporation, the writ petitions are disposed of with direction to the Municipal Corporation, Raipur to strictly follow the provisions of the Act of 2014 to issue street vending identity cards to the petitioners expeditiously preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this. No order as to cost(s).
