Section 3(1) in The Assam Agricultural University Act, 1968
(1)There shall be constituted in and for the State of Assam a University by the name of the Assam Agricultural University, which shall consist of a Chancellor, a Board of Management and an Academic Council and other Authorities and officers set forth in this Act as may be provided by the Statutes.
