We have heard Mr. Praveen Chaturvedi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner who has been nominated through the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee.

Since the petitioner is undergoing the sentence of imprisonment, the delay of 781 days in filing the special leave petition is condoned.

136 of the Constitution of India. The special leave petition is, accordingly, dismissed.

By perusal of the certificate of imprisonment, it is seen that the petitioner has already undergone about 11 years of sentence of imprisonment. The petitioner is at liberty to move the concerned authority for pre-mature release. As and when such application is filed by the petitioner, the concerned authority shall consider the same in accordance with law and pass orders. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
