Section 109(1) in Kolkata Municipal Corporation Building Rules, 2009
(1)No bathroom shall have a floor area of less than 1.8 sq. m., a width less than 1.2 m. and height less than 2.1 m. measured from the surface of a floor to the lowest point of the ceiling or the underside of any slab:Provided that it is a combined bathroom and a water closet, such floor area shall not be less than 2.6 sq. m.
