Section 37(1) in The Karnataka Public Libraries Act, 1965
(1)(a)One copy of each book received under the Press and Registration of Books Act, 1867 (Central Act 25 of 1867) shall be kept in the State Central Library as a Bureau of Copyright.(b)Copies of books in the Bureau of Copyright shall not be issued by way of loan of any kind but may be made available for reference in the library premises.
