Section 36(1) in Model Rules, 2011 under Bengal Ferries Act, 1885
(1)All designated boat surveyor (Motor Vehicle Inspectors) shall undergo one week course for boat surveying at National Inland Navigation Institute ,(NINI) , Patna or any other institute recognised by the State Government .
