Section 7 in THE ENERGY CONSERVATION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2022
7. In section 14A of the principal Act,—
(a)for the marginal heading, the following shall be substituted, namely:—“Issuance of energy savings certificate.”;(6)in sub-section (/), after the words “Central Government”, the words “or any agency authorised by it” shall be inserted;(c)in sub-section (2), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:—“Provided that any other person may also purchase energy saving certificate or carbon credit certificate on voluntary basis.”.
