The present Original Application has been filed by the applicants under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 seeking therein the following relief:
1. Direct the Respondent No. 1 and 2 to lift the hold on implementation of inspector of posts cadre results declared vide Government of India, Ministry of Communications, Department of Posts, Dak Bhavan, New Delhi 110 001 letter No. F.No. A-34013/01/2020 DE dated 24.06.2020 Annexure-A5. If the final key to answers were found correct.
2. Further direct the Respondents No. 1 & 2 if there is any discrepancies/mistakes final key answers to declare the revised results early.
3. Direct the respondents to fix the seniority of applicants in the I.P. cadre, from the date on which the promoted inspectors joined at Orissa circle.
4. Grant any other relief as deemed fit into the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.

At the very outset, learned counsel representing the applicants stated that before filing the present Original Application, the applicants submitted representations dated 05.10.2020, 06.10.2020 and 07.10.2020 on which no 4 OA.No.170/00480/2020/CAT/BANGALORE decision has been taken by the respondents uptil today. He further submitted that the applicants will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to decide those representations within a timeframe.
3. Keeping in view the aforestated limited prayer made by learned counsel for the applicants we deem it appropriate to dispose of the present Original Application at the admission stage itself without entering into the merits of the case.
4. Accordingly, the Original Application is disposed of with a direction to respondents to decide the applicants' pending representations dated 05.10.2020, 06.10.2020 and 07.10.2020 and pass the reasoned and speaking orders in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
5. The OA stands disposed of in the above terms. However, there shall be no orders so as to costs.
