(3)"Agriculture" means the basic and applied sciences of soil and water management, crop production including the production of all the garden crops, veterinary science, fisheries, forestry including farm forestry, home economics, agricultural engineering and technology, marketing, processing, co-operative land use and management, extension and the socio-economic upliftment of the rural people ;
