45. Board's power to cancel or permit the grant of duplicate certificate.
- If on enquiry the Secretary is satisfied that any statement made by the applicant for the issue of a duplicate certificate is false, he shall report the case to the Board at its next meeting & the Board may at its discretion cancel the certificate or permit the grant as aforesaid of a duplicate certificate either immediately or after such period not exceeding twelve months as the Board may think fit having regard to the circumstances of each case.
