Section 12(1) in The M.P. Ayurvedic, Unani Tatha Prakritik Chikitsa Vyavasayi Rules, 1973
(1)After satisfying himself that the electors have affixed their signatures to the counterfoils, the Returning Officer shall tear off the counterfoils, and place them in safe custody pending disposal under Rule 16.
