These Writ Petitions filed under Articles 226 and 227 of
the Constitution of India praying to direct the first respondent to
fifth respondent to initiate proceedings against R-6 for violating
the law and etc;
These Writ Petitions coming on for Preliminary Hearing,
this day, the court made the following:
ORDER
The complaint of the petitioner is that in spite of the sixth respondent being a non-agriculturist and having an income beyond the prescribed limit, he has purchased the agricultural land adjacent to the petitioner's land and is running commercial business. It is stated that the petitioner had complained to the authorities to take action against the sixth respondent for violation of the provisions of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961, namely Section 79A and 79B and in view of the inaction on the part of the respondents, the petitioner seeks that there be a direction.

2. The learned Government Advocate who has been served with an advance copy of the petitions, is directed to intimate the respondents as regards the petitioner's complaint, for the respondents to consider whether any action is warranted.
The petitions are disposed of with that direction.
