Section 184(3) in The Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994
(3)The Chairman shall be the ex-officio member and also Chairman of the General Committee, the Finance Audit and Planning Committee and Social Welfare Committee and every other Standing Committee, shall elect its Chairman from among its members.
