Section 7(1) in U.P. Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Rules, 1975
(1)A person shall be disqualified for being nominated and for being a member of the Board-(i)if he is of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court; or(ii)if he is an undercharged insolvent; or(iii)if he has been or is convicted of offence which, in the opinion of the State Government, involves moral turpitude.
