Section 17(1) in The Maharashtra Medical Council Act, 1965
(1)No person who possesses a medical qualification granted by any authority in any place outside the territory of India (other than the qualifications specified in the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956), shall be registered under this Act, unless the procedure specified in subsection (2) has been followed.
